Find those perfect presents - or just come and treat yourself - at The House of Illustration's winter Illustrators' Fair.
We will be taking over the Crossing in the Granary Building next to House of Illustration to fill it with their hand-picked selection of emerging and established illustrators.
With drop-in workshops and over 100 exhibitors it's also a fantastic opportunity to get creative, meet illustrators, and learn more about what they do.
Design For Today is delighted to be exhibiting at The Fine Press Book Fair in Oxford this November. Once again, in conjunction with the Fine Press Book Association, the PBFA is organising the longest standing fine press fair in the world: the Oxford Fine Press Book Fair in Oxford, UK.
We will be launching Noel Carrington, Nothing Need Be Ugly, the first major study of Carrington's life in Publishing and Design at the Fair. I have been invited to talk on Noel Carrington as a part of the lecture series and will be exhibiting key examples of his publishing.
At the Fair we will be offering a range of Private Press books, vintage design and illustrated books, as well as the Design For Today imprint.
Founded in 2012, ELCAF’s aim is to introduce and celebrate both small press publications and the dynamic community of individual artists and collectives that are pushing the boundaries in comics, illustration, graphic and sequential art here in the UK and abroad. Each year ELCAF has seen an incredible growth; larger venues, more exhibitors, and a greater number of people coming through the doors.
As a result, ELCAF 2015 will now be held over two days and will include an extended programme of events. In addition to our trademark workshops and talks during the two days of ELCAF itself, we will also be running a new series of Masterclasses in collaboration with House of Illustration, plus a satellite exhibition and workshop by Spanish artist Ricardo Cavolo at NOW Gallery‘s Urban Village Fete.
Over the two days of the ELCAF weekend, you’ll have the chance to pick up affordable art and prints, chat to the artists, and participate in a programme of events suitable for people of all ages. The weekend’s events will also be accompanied by an exciting selection of music from guest DJs as well as food and drinks available from the cafe at The Laundry.
